You can bring your history with you. Export it, map your columns once, and every day you logged comes across dated as the day you logged it. It is free and takes about a minute.
The game layer is genuinely motivating if that is how you work, and the community around it is real.
The quest and party layer is the whole product, so when the game stops being fun the tracking goes with it. There is also no health context: no medications, no weight, nothing connecting one habit to another.
Export menus move around. If these steps do not match what you see, look for anything that says export, backup or download, and pick the CSV.
Your habit history, day by day, as far back as the export goes. Each habit becomes a HabitSync habit dated from its earliest entry rather than from today.
Habitica's history export covers recent days in full and thins out for older months, so an import can be sparser further back than your account actually is. Avatars, gold, party membership and quest progress have no equivalent here and do not come across.
The export sits next to the import, on the same free plan. Everything you log comes back out as a CSV whenever you want it, including your medication history. That is the whole reason this page can exist: nobody should be stuck somewhere because their record is.
